Last Thursday was a raw bench day with the goal being 275 for 6 sets of 5 with a close grip.

Did a bunch of sets with the bar to warm up, then went:

95 x 5

135 x 5

185 x 5

225 x 5

275 x 6 x 5

The six sets of 5 were pretty easy, although I didn't push the reps at the end. It's getting close to meet time and I need to start recovering, and not going to failure anymore.

Finished with 4 sets of 10 on the seated row machine, then 4  supersets of 15 on rope triceps extensions and face pulls.
