I have some tendonitis in my left arm and I'm guessing that is what caused a slight strain in my left pec. I have taken the past week and a half off of upper body and I will be on vacation next week, so that time off should do the trick.
In the mean time, I just got a deep tissue massage, my massage therapist is pretty brutal, but very good at what he does. Plus, this is the most beat up I've ever felt. I can already tell a big difference in my upper body. I plan to get with him again when I get back from vacation.
As soon as I get back I will start getting ready for my next meet. An RPS meet in September at Rivercity Barbell, in Newport, KY. I think this will be the 5th year in a row that I've done this meet, they do a great job, fair judging and they run a quick meet. This will be 1 year since I've done a full power meet (I've done 2 DL only meets since), so I am hoping to hit a big total PR.
