Another week of yoga. Invited one of my closest friends this time. She has been taking time off from lifting and has been wanting a new outlet or different way to sweat.

Before class ends, we are read something that gives us perspective or brings up emotions we  didn't know were pent up inside. After class, Heather said "I cried and I don't know where it came from."

The power of being present is truly empowering and gratifying. Sometimes going through the motions or making days filled and busy as possible can do more damage than seen as 'productive'.

Slow down. Spend time with yourself. Make it part of your schedule if that's what it takes.

Reflect. Take yourself out of the box. Experience how much you can learn about yourself. Or don't.
