I start squatting heavy again this week and I want to be ready. I worked up to 405 last week and I will do 495 this week. Since I took 3 weeks off I need to be ready. I did some rolling and stretching tonight to get in squat mode.
Foam roll
Quads, Hips, and ITBs.
10 passes each one
Quad, glute, and hamstring stretch
20 seconds each one
Lying leg raise to front and side
2 sets of 10 each
Lying clam shell and internal rotations
2 sets of 10 each
Done
Trying to be proactive and not hurt. Lots of my issues are based on neglect and not realizing Im getting older and need to spend more time warming up, cooling down and staying prepared. I realize this and I want to make it better starting now.
