7 weeks away from the XPC 21 Deadlift Salute at the Arnold Expo. It was another great night with the training crew at my gym, The Strength Lab.

I need to make sure I quit being so lazy with my mobility/flexibility work. If I start getting lazy with it I can tell my glutes/ piriformis starts to tighten up and gives me some back pain.

Warm up:

Cable pull through 30 light reps

135x5, 225x5 275x5

Bands Added: (brand new set of elitefts average bands which made it a little tougher than last weeks speed pulls)

275x1, 325x1, 365x1, 415x1, 455x1, 505x1

Everything felt great and my confidence is starting to come back after a couple of disappointing deadlift misses in my past couple meets.

Dropped down an hit 3x3 at 275 plus bands.

Accessory work:

4 sets of 5 straight leg deadlift @ 185

4x10  heavy cable pull throughs
