I opted to jump in and get wild again. Due to helloween being on Tuesday in my town I won't be in the gym for the usual night. I took the kid to swimming and the other to child watch and got to work at the ymca. I had my old squat shoes a busted belt and some sleeves. Perfect for day one.
My stance has been brought way in and my depth is deeper then 4 whites at NATS. I'm way out of my comfort zone.
Squats. I started at 70% this mini cycle. Goal is to make technique tweaks right away and master with the lighter weights first. It took a long time to warm up tonight. My hips, quads, and elbows are very angry right now. I actually wore elbow sleeves to squat. That is a first but helped me out. I'm 33 but have been competing since I was 18. I'm what you call old young. Much like skinny fat it isn't a cool tag.
