Raw warm ups: bar / 25lb jumps
**changed to a wider stance (almost like a pli·é) and tested grip out. Experienced some shoulder pain and it was harder to get my lats tight and position my body under the bar.
Suit: 235lbs x 2, 285lbs x 2, 325lbs x 2, 355lbs x 2, 375lbs 2 x 1
- Fatbell banded swings 3 x 12 (pause @ the bottom for 1 second - intent is to make these harder and not use momentum)
- GHR back extensions 3 x 15 (bodyweight)
- Reverse Lunges (w/ stationary foot elevated on a mat or plate) 3 x 10/10
- Face mpulls x Machine rows x Machine Pull downs 3 x 10/10/10
- Leg extensions 3 x 10 (heavy - used 90lbs)
- Elevated heel on plate close stance squats w/ 60lbs DB held upright 3 x 10
I sent my videos to Dave and explained the intent of a few technical changes. He said it looked better but to add band abduction work from box about 2-4 inches lower than bottom of the squat.
