Tuesday I went up to Canton (a few hours north of me) to get some more tattoo work done, and squatted at the U of Akron Rec Center where I used to work. I was happy to hit a rep PR and then do an additional light single afterwords - My back caved forward a few times and I think it was a combination of me being impatient/rushing, and my hips still being really stiff from driving 3 hours then immediately getting out and lifting. Either way, even if it wasn't the prettiest it was a good day! Numbers-wise my squat has a long way to go, but I'm making consistent progress each month, and that adds up. So I'm just keeping the blinders on and chipping away.

Competitively - My last competition was the UPA Summer Showdown August 6th - And my gameplan is compete in another raw meet this winter; and continue to build towards qualifying for a larger raw meet for next year. I've been competing for about 6 years and spent the last 3 competing in multi-ply gear before now doing some raw competitions again.
