Made the long haul to London, Oh to squat at eltiefts. I was spoiled before, it was about an hour each way from my house to the compound, now, since I moved, it is about 3 hours. I had to pick up some equipment and got to meet up with one of my good friends and long time training partners, Josh Cioca to train, so it was well worth the trip.

I warmed up for a pretty good amount of time due to being in the car for a few hours and feeling pretty stiff.

Squats - straight bar, straight weight

375x3
415x2
465x1
505x1
555x1
595x1

I would have liked to go a little heavier, but I was pretty tight still from my heavier squat session earlier in the week and the 3 hour drive.

Deadlift vs bands
Josh and I used the new platform and pulled vs what started to be not too bad of band tension. 'Till Dave laughed and said he had something for us. He brought over a brand new set of the thickest bands I have ever seen. After I barely managed to get them on the band pegs. I couldn't lockout 275 lbs bar weight with them. How embarrassing. I came back and pulled it on my second attempt. The video really doesn't make it look hard, but I promise it was.
