I am currently in an "off-season" phase focused on putting on some serious bodyweight while still getting stronger. I'm also raising an awesome infant boy, while still working, training and living life. My next competition will be the USS National Championship in late June where I'll be competing in the 220# class.

Nothing too exciting about this event day. I had planned on doing Yoke Squats outside, but with snow and ice covering everything this wasn't an option. So I set up our SSB bar in the power rack at the same height I had planned to yoke squat and hit some singles here. It felt a lot different (harder) than the yoke squat, but the weight displacement was definitely a factor. Either way I got in and put in some work and left.
