Current total: 830.5 at 132 lb BW - Florida State and National Record Holder in Junior and Open Women's Raw division

Qualified National Strongman competitor and will be competing in Nationals this coming October to qualify for The Arnold in 2016

I am here to live, learn, and pass on.

So after, of course, I realized I haven't been looking at the updated weight change for Nationals and been using the old comp weight for this specific event. It's not a big deal in a sense that we are still 8 weeks out -- that's just how it is. With Strongman competitions, they are able to make changes the day of. Doesn't matter. They try to avoid those things but you have to work with what they give you.

Since every competition is different, so are the rules. The Conan carry went from 230lbs to 300lbs, which I am really happy about considering how easy it was, but the way I was carrying the implement was actually the wrong way. It must be carried Conan style, not like a front squat (I'm still learning about this).

For those of you who don't know what a Conan carry is, I found one of Andy Decks competition videos that demonstrates how a Conan carry should be held and looks like (shown at 2:41). Only difference is I will be using a Yoke.

Saturdays events were as followed:

Log Clean and Press - 2 reps every minute for 10 minutes x 2 (@ 85% of comp weight 135)

Zerchers 3 x 50ft - best time: 8.47 (225lbs)

Sandbag carry 140lbs  - 2 sets of max distance (brutal x x)

Post-Training:

I hung out with Bahhhhbbb (Bob Youngs) and his son, Chris, who is the coolest kid ever. They were nice enough to invite me to go shooting and hangout. They had me slaving away in the kitchen making tacos (so racist) but luckily I showed them whose boss in a game of basketball and battleship.

Then, ended the weekend with my nephew, Melo, and my brutter.

Can't really complain. Life is good.
