After training last weekend during the UGGS we hosted with Jim Wendler, I always leave more knowledgeable training with all my teammates. I benched, deadlifted and squatted and received really good feedback and pointers. I know I have a few things to work on but when someone else can explain it in terms that makes it easier to understand and you have that "ah-ha" moment, it makes everything easier yet harder to move forward.

Specifically my deadlifts, I've had to break down and re-learn my positioning. You can only go so long with what you've been doing until you're dealing with heavier weights. For the longest time I thought it was a back strength issue. I thought I wasn't doing enough to develop that until Casey and Christian Anto told me it's how I've been positioning my hips.

It's been challenging but that's how you learn and adapt. Having teammates that can give you feed back (especially ones you trust) and a different perspective on lifting has been a huge help. You may think it's one issue  but getting their two-cents on things can really change the whole dynamic for the better. Minor things to work on but looking forward to making those small changes and how drastic my deadlifts will feel and improve.

I'm not discouraged at all. I pr'd on deadlifts a few weeks ago and trippled 375lbs. My goal of 400 is definitely coming, I just want to be smart about it.
