In two months Casey and I did 4 seminars teaching the Pittsburgh lifting community how to deadlift. That's a lot of repetition. To the point where while I'm training, I hear my own voice coaching in my head. Not sure if that's a good thing or bad thing but it's holding me accountable to be even more picky with my form. Practice what your preach, right?

I read recently on Facebook someone asking what is the #1 cue you have for deads. I answered "lats in your back pocket." Instead of 'tightening' your lats out, pull them down allowing your arms to feel longer to reach for the bar and forcing hips to open.
