Early start to the day, woke up at about 4:30 am as my flight was departing Memphis at 6:30. I was not sure how busy the Airport was going to be on a Thursday morning, I was playing it safe. Turns out I played it too safe and I ended up with PLENTY of time to spare. Memphis is a very small airport, does not stay open 24hrs, and does not offer many direct flights. Most of the people were businessmen and women who pack light and do not mess around with flight checks. Great news for me and other none savvy travelers. Side note, I am not a huge fan of flying. I get major anxiety while approaching a landing and no matter what cannot get comfortable even at cruising altitude, but that's just me being a "lil biiiiiitccccchhhhhh".

Hopped from Memphis to DFW than the "long haul" to San Fran. The layover was short and I ended up getting hella spoiled on the way to Cali cause our plan had TVs. I watched ALL THE MOVIES, really only 2.3; "Baby Driver" which was entertaining, this movie was not advertised a lot, got great ratings and was a little more realistic than most driver movies, such as, The Transporter. Next was well, I got to be honest with you, I've been sitting here for five minutes and I cannot for the life of me remember what I watched next. I ended the trip with the first 35 minutes of, "The Wall", military move with Jooohhhhnnnnnnnn Ceeeeennnaaaaaa, lol. I was the wrong thing to watch as a dude has his finger shot off and compound fracture in the leg from a sniper bullet, right as we were getting ready to land.

Getting out of the San Fran airport was not too shabby, looking at the line getting through pre-check I knew I would need to be there WAY earlier than when leaving Memphis. I sat for about 15 minutes waiting for a bus to take me to an off-site car rental facility. It was low budget, with traffic the bus ride was another 15 minutes which surprised me. I got irritated as I had a car rental pre-paid for, go their late due flight crew being late, and it still took an hour for them to get my car ready. On the upside, this was the most annoying part of my journey, once this was passed I hoped in the car and made the hour commute to Harry Selkows place to recover from travel.

Traffic was terrible but, had great distractions from all the amazing sites Cali had to offer. The bay, city, and cannons I drove through were all crazy. Each area had its own weather, I have never experienced anything like that before. Enjoy the rest of this trips post's in following blogs!
