APF State meet December 15, 2019

Training

From a training perspective a trip down to Memphis was fantastic. The style of peeking that I did for last meets APF nationals appeared to work for me. I am running the same peak for this meat and things are feeling even better than last time. I have a gauge of where I need to be the only thing that standing in the way now is a successful cut to 181. I’m currently waking up 8 pounds over my weight class on Fridaymornings and we haven’t done any drastic decreases in calories. A minor caloric deficit will be in place after our heaviest training week and the last week prior will involve a salt load and water cut with a trip to the sauna Thursday evening. The goal is to only be uncomfortable for the shortest time possible and get everything back weight wise without IV.
