On behalf of the North American Outlaw Kettlebell Club Ken and I wish to congratulate Bethany Lewis & her sister Shannon Lewis on completing their Kettlebell Certification and becoming our new Instructors.
Bethany and Shannon have been training with me for 3 years now, they were introduced to Kettlebells accidentally when they attended a class at the gym which they thought was a boot camp. To their surprise it was me teaching Kettlebells, they have been hooked ever since.
These two ladies grew up in a competitive atmosphere and are very talented athletes. Attending my Kettlebell Fitness classes they soon became interested in the sport and started competing soon after. Bethany has quickly progressed with her rankings and has become a "Master Of Sport" and Shannon got her ranking of "Candidate for Master Of Sport" this past October. Also the most memorable competition is the Arnold's where meeting Jason Statham was the highlight !
These ladies walk the walk, they lead by example, they care about their health, fitness and nutrition. To be a leader you must lead by example and be able to share your passion. You have to be able to accept criticism as well as give it at times which is difficult for some people to do. Bethany and Shannon are continually trying to better themselves and have taken several workshops from some top Kettlebell World Champions and have been teaching at their gym as back up instructors.
Bethany and Shannon plan on taking their knowledge and "Living, Learning and Passing On. To be able to have two wonderful leaders on your team and have them represent your club is amazing, we are so proud of these two young ladies.
