Decided I was going to train this bodybuilding phase with Julia who is being programmed under Anne Sheehan. We asked if she would mind me trying to keep up during my transition from GPP into bodybuilding which will soon be power-building leading into my next meet. I hopped in on Friday which was her day 3 ending up as Back day. Ok here is the deal, Anne and Julia straight up punked me. Not really but this entire day I felt like I was being bullied as I struggle with high volume stuff, although the ending of this session was one of the more miserable things I've experienced it was a solid day.

 

We had several supersets but a change of pace for me and started with ABS! this set the tone for the suck cause I felt it the rest of the training session in everything that we were doing. This was new to me and will definitely implement more often once I transition out of bodybuilding. Single-arm lat pulldowns were frustrating as there is some underlying pain in my upper arm that will be getting addressed in the next 2 days when I have a check-in with "Dr. Bob".

Now on to the biggest amount of ISHT I have ever done, conditioning with heavier weight. I am not a foreigner to speed work with 50-70% for multiple sets and reps but to put it in a straight hit configuration was the death of me. Exercise prescription: 50% deadlift, do it on a trap bar and AMRAP, then after you cannot get anymore walk 50 paces, repeat 5 times or 12 min whatever comes first. Ok, let's be honest here, I got 3 rounds and lucked tail. After my first turn during round one, I felt myself get light-headed and knew the next 2 rounds where gonna be some bull .... Well, enjoy the video and my last 2 awful sets of some crazy HIIT
