I am very nervous about today's surgery, how it's going to go, how it's going to feel, pain sucks, recovery sucks but I am stronger than I have ever been. I need to be patient and do exactly what the Dr. orders and I will be back to my lifting in no time at all.

On Aug 16th  I was bench pressing 205 Lbs, this proved to be my last bench press since.

My Right shoulder popped at the bottom of my press, I tore my Supraspinatus Tendon and the rest is history. The tendon has since retracted about 3 inches and I am hoping surgery goes as planned.

I will keep you updated on my surgery results and my recovery but there has never been a time when I have been so nervous about surgery, not even this nervous prior to my back surgery. I had some pre-surgery jitters yesterday morning, sick to my stomach, and then coming out both ends, hoping it's just my nerves,

This is the week we were supposed to be going to Portugal to represent Team Canada at the Worlds, instead I am having surgery, not as much fun but part of the game none the less. Athlete's get injured, we wear out but everything is fixable, hopefully !

Wishing all the lifters travelling to Portugal to lift at the worlds the best of luck, safe travels and may all your lights be white, especially my good friend Rachel Zipsie, going to miss being there to watch you!

Stay tuned for my updates I have big goals next year, I will reach them, I am relentless.
