I'm currently training just to train. Life has been pretty busy and stressful these past few weeks and months, so I'm going back to my roots. I'm training because I love to train. It's my release, my escape. Currently I'll be following a upper/full body/upper split. I'm taking a break from events at the moment and just putting in work and enjoying training again. I'm sure I'll get my eyes on a competition at some point in the future, but not right now.

I had a pretty good training session this day. Nothing too exciting, just a solid upper body day. Life seems to slowly be returning back to normal, so that's good. I have a vacation coming up in a couple of weeks so between now and then I'm training a bit more bodybuilding style with a strength component. I've drop my calories back down to maintenance and I'm weighing around 218-220. Planning to stay  here for a little while. I'm a lot leaner than I have ever been at this body weight. So that's a plus. I'm glad I won't look like chewed bubble gum on the beach.
