I’m currently taking an off week of training hitting some volume to give my joints a bit of a break before beginning to ramp up for two meets, the APF Illinois State Meet and APF Senior Nationals.

Friday was just a wild overall day. After my morning clients and getting things ready for my seminar in the afternoon, I knocked out some arm training before some of the Purdue Barbell guys came to help me move the monolift. Just a quick 30 min session to get a BRO pump, and I was done. My arms haven't felt this pumped in a long time, but my elbows were feeling really good after I was done.

I will be sure to have a brief recap of my seminar that I held and the overall thoughts of how it went.

The volume training went really well, and I wish I could do it for a few more weeks, but with the meets that I have coming up, I don't really have much time to do some hypertrophy like work. It's been a good week to eat super relaxed and eat many of the foods I've been missing, but I'm just overall feeling like crap and super bloated all the time. After the seminar, I'll be back to dieting and reigning things back to get my weight under control for APF Nationals in 11 weeks. I'll try to keep my nutrition updated on here a bit more, as I know that's always interesting on how things go in that regard and how everyone does things a bit differently.
