My first full deadlift workout since pulling 777 at the Arnold Classic back in March. Shortly after that I had a non lifting related back tweak, so, since I had no plans to compete anytime soon, I've taken it easy on my back. Now, I've officially signed up for a meet in September at Rivercity Barbell, so it's time to step things up a little bit.
I spent 10-15 minutes hitting some mobility work and some light straight leg deadlifts along with a handful of conventional reps at 135. After the deep tissue massage last week, everything has been feeling pretty good.

Everything felt great and moved well. I've always liked pulling against heavy band tension and plan to hit another band cycle as I get closer to my Sept meet.
