After Nationals, I felt pretty sorry for myself. I was frustrated, and felt like everything I had done in the past year had gotten me nowhere. For one of the first times in my life, I relied on food to fill a void. I told myself I could afford to gain a little weight (Which I definitely had room for), but used it as an excuse to binge on food. and boy did I binge. I took the halloween candy out from hiding and had a few bars a day. If i felt like eating pizza, or anything, I did.
I ballooned up pretty well after about 6 weeks of this, then spend another few weeks trying to get back to being healthy, but was still struggling. I am someone who needs to have a concrete plan do succeed, so I decided to start the RP nutrition program. I was drawn to it because the meals are tailored to your training program, and the focus is on keeping performance high while dropping body fat.
I'd ideally like to be as lean as possible while keeping my weight as close to 63kg as possible. I know I need to keep working on increasing my muscle mass and reducing body fat to do this.

This is my first time following a macro based diet, and one thing that I love about this program, is that it is meant to be followed with healthy food. Maybe once in a while I'll find a way to sneak a treat in, but for the most part I will keep my food as nutritious as possible.

I am down 1 lb so far this week. I think thats a pretty great start.
