I'm taking the next 12+ weeks off from strongman events and training primarily for hypertrophy with a slight strength emphasis. I'm in my "off-season" and looking to put on some size over the upcoming months and into next year. I'm working with teammate Mike Mastell on my programming.

This session sucked. I had been doing this session on Monday afternoons, however due to my schedule I had to move it to Tuesday. On Tuesdays I get up at 5:00am, pack my food for the day, fix some coffee and drive to the gym arriving by 6:00am for my first client. I had clients back to back this day from 6am-1pm. Then it was time to train. Believe it or not, coaching clients for 7 hours back to back is pretty exhausting. My nutrition was a spaced out more than usual since I normally work at 7 and train at noon on Mondays. My session was going pretty good at first, but I was running low on time since it was getting close to time for my next client. So I shortened my rest periods even more and soon realized that was a bad idea. I got very light headed felt like my blood sugar had bottomed out. To top it off I had forgot the honey for my intra-workout shake that day. That typically will help keep that from happening. By the time I felt halfway decent again my next client was there and it was time to get back to work. So I had to cut this one short.

I should note I had some crazy muscle soreness from this session. And I didn't even finish it all. So I'll take that as a positive.
