Week 11, Day 2 - Block Pulls & SSB Squats (w/Video)

Coming off of a 2nd Place Finish at USS Nationals in June, I'm now in an off-season hypertrophy phase for the next 12 weeks. I'm working with Mike Mastell on my programming and it's based off of John Meadows Mountain Dog Training with a slight strength emphasis.


-This session felt really good. I felt pretty damn strong to be at the 11th week of a hypertrophy phase. Hell I pulled 550 for 3 sets of 8 suited just 4 weeks out from Nationals. I pulled 545 for 3 sets of 6 raw this week. I'm also about 12 pounds lighter at the moment.

-I'm really happy with where my strength is right now. I'm excited to see what happens during this next strength phase.
