I'm taking the next 12+ weeks off from strongman events and training primarily for hypertrophy with a slight strength emphasis. I'm in my "off-season" and looking to put on some size over the upcoming months and into next year. I'm working with teammate Mike Mastell on my programming.

I'm halfway through this 12 week phase and I'm very happy with my results so far. Physically I've gained some muscle, my strength still feels really solid and I'm enjoying training again. I'm looking forward to getting back to more strength based work, but I'm in no rush. I have no doubts that I'll be a bigger, faster, stronger and better strongman competitor at my next competition.
