I'm taking the next 12+ weeks off from strongman events and training primarily for hypertrophy with a slight strength emphasis. I'm in my "off-season" and looking to put on some size over the upcoming months and into next year. I'm working with teammate Mike Mastell on my programming.
This session sucked. Mainly because I hate tempo training and have always sucked at trying to experiment with it at any length of time. Since is the first time in over 16 year I've let anyone else write my programming though, I'm going to follow what is written. So I sucked it up and counted the tempo. This was a fairly short session, but it was still pretty rough. And counting tempo sucks. I always get confused on what rep I'm on. It's just too much crap to keep up with, haha.
