I'm taking the next 12+ weeks off from strongman events and training primarily for hypertrophy with a slight strength emphasis. I'm in my "off-season" and looking to put on some size over the upcoming months and into next year. I'm working with teammate Mike Mastell on my programming.

My chest was on fire and super pumped after the first exercise and I was only using 30# DBs. Overall this session was pretty good, however my right wrist has been giving me some issues lately. It's the one I had a small fracture in last spring. It's tolerable, but I don't like it. I also had a time with the log push press. I haven't trained the push press in years. My pressing is almost always strict or push jerk. So I made a focus to do these correctly. Some of the reps were pretty strict and really fried my triceps. Overall nothing too exciting. Just putting in the work.
