I'm taking the next 12+ weeks off from strongman events and training primarily for hypertrophy with a slight strength emphasis. I'm in my "off-season" and looking to put on some size over the upcoming months and into next year. I'm working with teammate Mike Mastell on my programming.

I'm starting to miss training events and competing. This is a good thing though. This tells me I'm mentally get back to where I need to be. I'm getting that itch again. I'm in no rush though. I've got a plan in place and I'm going to follow through. I'm really enjoying the training I'm doing now anyways and I've got at least 4 more weeks of it.

I was surprised that my back wasn't as fatigued as I expected after the block pulls the day before. I was wondering how these front squats were going to feel, but they actually felt good. I felt a little slower than I'd like, but the weight moved good and smooth. My legs were crazy pumped by the time I got to these from the GHRs and leg extensions.

Also - be sure to leave any questions or comments you may have in the comments section on any of my logs. Thank you for reading and following along.
