I'm taking the next 12+ weeks off from strongman events and training primarily for hypertrophy with a slight strength emphasis. I'm in my "off-season" and looking to put on some size over the upcoming months and into next year. I'm working with teammate Mike Mastell on my programming.

This session felt really good. My arms have definitely grown and also are just fuller and have more shape to them. I'm pretty happy with this. I've also learned how to get more out of less when it comes to the weights being used. My elbows feel great for anyone wondering.

I literally got so pumped the sleeve on my t-shirt ripped. I always thought that was just marketing BS. I let the makers of my pre-workout know they can use that in their marketing now, "Sleeve-splitting Pumps". Before the smedium jokes start - it was an XL, thank you. Ha! It was a really old shirt though, so that was part of it.

I'm on Instgram now for anyone who wants to follow: /chasekarnes
