This year I decided to return back to competing in strongman. My plan was to take this year to rebuild in an effort to be competitive once again in 2017. I'm planning on making my final few years in strongman count.  My final competition plan for this year is to compete at Strongman Corporation's Masters Nationals at The Olympia on September 16, 2016.

I am behind on posting my log. School is back in session and that first few weeks back go something like....

Wake up early which is somewhat managable since I slept a lot over summer.  Get to work with a little time to spare. Teach all morning. By 11:00 wondering what happened to nap time. Realize I've already consumed about a pot of coffee and need to cut the cord somewhere. So then I'm forced to grit it out to the end of the day, go home and crawl in bed until people start demanding dinner. Get out of bed, make dinner, go back to bed and repeat. Except the next days evolve into less makeup, limited hair styling and leaving the house later each day.

It's always amazing how tiring and chaotic the first few weeks back are.  I have a new aid and have warned him that on press and DL days, he's probably going to have to unlock the door and let himself in. Training did continue. I will catch it up this week!
