The first day with our new phase focused on applying our accumulated strength and speed into more sports-specific movements. For powerlifting that would be movements closer related to what we do in competition. For this phase that will entail competition bars, all equipment being used during competition and the only added variable will be bands and chains. For our first day, it went pretty freaking well considering we have not thrown wraps on in over 3 months.

*Squat + WRAPS + Chains 1x1: 585 + 6
Guys: 4-6 chains
Ladys: 2-4 chains
*High Bar Squat, pause in hole, pause half way up- 4x8:
*Leg Press Wide Stance (posterior chain) 80 reps: 112
*DB RDL’s 4x10: 70,70,85,85
*Hamstring Curls 5x12: #5,6,6,6,6
