2018 APF/AAPF IL Raw Power Challenge
So today was the day that took me out of training till the following Wednesday. What I think happened was the new stimuli with today being the first round of wide stance, high box, double banded speed work. My hips were being little bitches and I think I was lazy with my bracing. I say this cause my back was BLOWN up by the end of these speed squats at only 10x2, the band tension rocked me. The speed pulls that followed did not help the situation and I believe I was already injured at that point BUT WAIT, I kept going to finish the workout with snatch grip deadlifts, which uses not back, and 45-degree hypers with the lower back as our focus .... smart, right? I paid for it over the next week for sure.
