2018 APF/AAPF IL Raw Power Challenge

Starting this training day I was sluggish and slow, our time changed that we had to train due to client schedules. Floor press also is a variation that has not been done, prior to this training cycle, in a very long time which has me feeling lost doing it. Working up win weight I felt myself fighting to touch lower but it was feeling better when I was doing so, my elbows were flaring automatically but at the right time so I decided to make that my groove to find which felt uncomfortable during the eccentric but paid off during the press. You will see in the video, on my max attempt, that I flare and looks as though I almost "caught" the bar after the flare as Vincent described it at the EliteFTS LTTX. That was a max press for me and although slow it was the most comfortable grind I have ever experienced during a bench variation and without leg drive which I rely heavily on!
