I will start by saying, CURRENTLY I have nothing against setting the method up with a ME deadlift after speed squats. I am writing this 3 days after the session and I will note I am still feeling it so it may cause problems on ME squats this afternoon. I will get back to you on that here shortly, the way we have it structured, Wk2 Day3 will be speed Deads and not a ME dead. Again, not sold on this setup yet, I went back and forth with it while programming and finally pulled the trigger cause you don't know until you try it and learn if it worked or not. The main reason I set it up this way was to give us a chance to work the triphasic portion on deadlifts NOT after ME squats and supplemental squats.

First time doing speed squats in almost a year so these hit me hard. I forgot how much a conditioning feel they had to them but I liked it. I feel it really preps me well for the work that will follow on deads. We decided to pick ever variation that we suck at and gives problems that we could think of, I feel the only one we missed was a fat bar or fat grips. Stiff bar, chains, deficit, opposite stance, and reps. With all that being said, these actually felt great today. With the looks of the video, I punked out and did not go as heavy as I should have but my back and hamstrings felt good after and I knew it was not "light" so I was content.
