I meet my nemesis again in this microcycle, incline bench press! My weakest lift is by far the bench press (hence why I enlisted the help of Casey Williams). To add to the humility of that weak bench press putting it at an incline is even worse for me, and thats exactly why I do it.
today went surprisingly well, I had zero tricep pain during all our movements and we even followed our main lift with heavy close grip 3 board presses which I was able to hold all in my triceps (very niiiice). The best set today of our heavy three ended at 315 and ill take it!!!
Training:
*Incline Bench Press Work up to heavy triple: 315
*Close Grip 3 Board Bench: 315
*Reverse Band Bench Rows
*Laying DB Internal and External Rotation
