In the process of cutting down my weight to make my water cut back to 181 more comfortable which means getting up early and hitting the steady state cardio. I had a bunch of "down time" from clients but ended up helping another powerlifting group coming in that needed some form checks on squat so I was working all the way till training again, which does not bother me. Getting into training was a task, I was woken up when I un-racked 480 and my body had a few choice words for me. After a short conversation we came to terms with each other and moved past it, although my bodies attitude needed a constant check prior to un-rack each set. The goal was to beat last weeks smith 600lbs, well my body delivered, I threw down and moved 620lbs for three but the Spider Bar definitely left its mark as it bent me over on my last two reps

After getting violated by the Spider Bar we moved to opposite stance deadlifts off five mats. This week I decided to belt up and lose the straps. I was allowing my spine to move to much under load and played it smart. I don't want another injury. Last week I pulled a very poor 575 for three. The blocks I used had a raised front and back section so I swapped over to mats today in hopes of not disrupting my reps. My decisions played out well and I was able to move 600 pretty well for a triple. I had more in me but was not going to push it after how the Spider Bar had me feeling.
