When I started this meet prep my coach set my overall bench max lower than I would have liked due to me performing poorly on my test week, which is on me. I have met and exceeded retired lifts several weeks in a row, we came to the decision today after reviewing how well these presses moved to increase my overall max up which is what I like. It may be to late but a few technique errors were fixed while I was working at these lighter weights that hopefully will result in a few steps forward on my worst lift!
