After Monday's squat session I really had no more stress to give towards my bench. My front felt has been giving me issues and I needed to play it smart as the risk factor of todays session could easily outweigh the overall reward. Remember, "nothing you do on this one training day will make you stronger, everything you do on this training day can make you weaker" - unknown

I admit I did not warm up with enough attempts on bench. I made a 30lb jump from my last warm-up set to my only 3RM attempt, although risky, I knew I was going to be good for one go at a heavy set and I did. First two reps were awesome, last rep I completely let loose while on my chest and paid for it with a long slow third rep that was locked out unevenly. All in all it was the max number I could have hit for the day and a huge success. Now to keep this anxiety down throughout this peak!
