What a weekend, this following the SPS Seminar that was held 7 days prior! I was in Ohio and then 4 days later back on the road making the 9 hour drive again to help my athlete at the XPC Elite Day and all my EliteFTS teammates on the Pro Day!

After getting ready to go Friday morning and helping my lifter get his nerves together we were off to the races, this was his largest stage and only his 4th meet so we had high expectation's but I was also cautious. See, I was on that stage a year earlier and it took my lunch money not on just one lift but 6 of them so I knew the potential havoc the stage could bring. Once we were done with the opener squat's we were in a good place. My lifter hit meet PR's and a new PR total, but there was so much more going on (i found out) than just my lifter. After half the day of not paying attention I realized I was coaching against not just one but two other EliteFTS team members and their lifters in the same weight class so shit started to get fun, and real. Ill just make it short and sweet, Garrett Blatnik of NBS Fitness won the 275 class with an 1825 Total :p

After we got done (4:30pm ish) and walked away with first, I had to high tail it back to the hotel room and try and get a quick nap in and some food. The nap ended up being less than a blink and we were in the Starbucks drive through getting large coffee's to make our way to the S4 compound for the raffle training session. Caffeine is almost not needed cause I get so pumped rolling into the parking lot of ELiteFTS. Training was going to consist of deadlifts + all the chain's, as me and my training partner Comb's (cover pic cred) started going to work it quickly became a deadlift party. We went from two ta eight training with us and you know what, it was freaking awesome. I got ton's of question's and I was able to help coach several people which is what I live for!

Overtime I am given the opportunity to represent EliteFTS at the compound the customer's and clients that come out are so eager and willing to learn. Being given a platform to help them is just an amazing thing.

Training ended around 9pm and we rolled out since it was everyones cheat meal, we zero'd in on "Flip Side" burgers which was on the far side of Columbus. I put the pedal down in the Chevy Volt and we actually got there with time to spare where they would not spit in our food for coming in late. Everyone order a ton of food so our server was happy and tipped well.

The next day I was up just as early as the day before cause I would be helping EliteFTS Team Member's Chris Janek (tank) and his lifters, Jo Jordan, and finally Julia Ladewski. All Elite Team Member's that I was handling had a fantastic day, Jo a huge total PR he has been chasing forever and Julia accomplished what she set out to do as well.

All in all it was a phenomenal weekend and I cannot wait for the next chance to help my teammates and #LiveLearnPassOn
