We're excited to announce Ben Pollack as the newest addition to Team elitefts. Ben Pollack holds the third-highest raw total of all time in the 198-pound weight class and ranks fourth in the 181-pound class. Off the platform, Ben's a doctoral student at the University of Texas at Austin, studying the history of physical culture and sports at the H.J. Lutcher Stark Center with Dr. Jan Todd. Several of his academic articles are published in scholarly journals including the Journal of Sport History and Iron Game History: The Journal of Physical Culture. He trains at Big Tex Gym in Austin, Texas. As Ben shares in his first coaching log, he has three goals to reach through this opportunity: 1) Detail his programming and training philosophy, 2) Share his research and help you apply it to your own life, and 3) Help you, based on your questions and log interaction.
