I having been feeling awful so I decided to challenge myself.

  • FBB Press Warm-ups 3x5
  • Pull-aparts 2x25
  • Split Squat 2x15
  • FBB Press 120x5, 140x5, 160x5, 5x8@120
  • Pull-ups 5x6
  • Hammer Rows 2x20
  • GHR 2x15

I did this in 29:21.  It surprised me.  I figured the upper body work would be easier than the lower.  I was wrong.  I had a very good pace.  Got a little dizzy and few times.  Felt my heart racing.  Definitely a good push today.

As I've mentioned, I haven't been feeling great lately.  Zero motivation.  I even read an article by a SEAL about mental toughness that did nothing to motivate me.  We all know that because it was written by a SEAL it should automatically fire us up.  Well, maybe he was just a bad writer?

But, training on the clock was enough to stoke the home fires.

I will do some shooting this weekend to relieve the stress of the week.  It's been a fun one.  I can't express how happy I am that football is done with their winter program.  I have a constant urge to choke all of them at this point.  And it's that kind of choke where you look into their eyes as you hold them under water with your hand around their throat type of choke.  Needless to say, I need a break.  The soccer team is eliciting a similar feeling.

What's crazy is I'll be on spring break for 3 days and I'll miss the whole bunch.  This is such a weird profession.
