Shannon began training with me on May 6th after relocating from Ohio where he trained with Marco Wall at Laura and Shane Sweatt’s well known Sweatt Shop.

In his first week of training with me he worked up to 305 on the squat off of a high box, 275 on the bench off of a 3 board, and 335 on the deadlift off of 4” blocks. Based off of his current best lifts we initially set his projected maxes for a 365 squat, 275 bench, and a 385 deadlift. Shannon followed Program 1 of the M2 Method, which is a 3 day split, to a T.

On week 12 he squatted 345 for a double to depth, benched 305 for a single off his chest, and deadlifted 365 for a double off the floor. He also pulled 405 for a single off of 2” blocks this past week. With no plans to compete it wasn’t necessary to have him max on everything, but he is clearly well ahead of the scheduled plan.

Shannon said, and I quote, “I’m the strongest and have the most muscle I’ve ever had and am spending about a third of the time training that I used to.” He is so pleased with his results that he’s having his wife, Kyla, train with me as well now.
