Oh, what a week. First, if I ever decide to buy another house just push me in front of a bus. There is nothing in this world more stressful and time consuming. I absolutely HATE every second of it. Add to that, my hard drive crashed Thursday and is non-recoverable. Well, at least that is what the 20 year old kid at Best Buy told me so I tend to believe him – what with my dumbass not having much of a clue. Suffice to say I bought a new computer and have been trying to break this new on in. This is also not fun. It is surprising how we tend to rely on links, bookmarks, speed dial and more, to make our lives easier (harder?).

My training this week has not only kept my sanity but has kept at least 3 people alive – one of which is my wife through no real fault of her own. I just feel that because she is the closest person to me, I would probably kill her first. Don’t bust my balls, I am at the top of her list, too, with the stress of the house right now.

I am still training with my daughter and my wife and, surprisingly, it is actually going quite well. They are both tuned in and dialed in and they work hard and fast – two prerequisites you must have to train with me. Plus, my daughter is REALLY good with her iphone, editing and making her Dad look super sexy on IG. If you don’t believe me, check out my IG account: @IntenseMuscle. 

I am on to something and will go into more detail in the next few weeks but I am using a supercompensating glycogen storage compound with Skiploading that is not only filling me out after the Skiploads but has me growing. I know this is why because my TRT dosing that is being monitored by my Doc and has been stable dosing for months and months now, is not causing it. Plus, as soon as I started what I will call “SCGS compound” about 4 weeks ago, the effect stared and has become more pronounced every week. This is a seriously awesome find because while in a caloric deficit AND with high cardio output, I am getting stronger all of a sudden and not just by a rep here or there but actual larger weights and significantly more reps. I am talking weights and reps that I have done in the past with a body weight of 20 pounds more than I am now. I am roughly 202 ish for a body weight right now so this is very, very light for me and yet my strength has taken an obvious turn for the best along with muscle size/fullness.

I am going to go back to rotating my 3 day a week protocol so that instead of it looking like this:

Mon – chest/back
Wed – legs/abs
Fri – delts/arms

It will look like this again:

Mon – chest/back
Wed – legs/abs
Friday – chest/back
Mon – delts/arms
Wed – legs/abs
Fri – chest/back
Mon – start over again

This allows for chest and back to be hit more frequently but not so frequently that it is every single week but instead every OTHER week. The big bonus or advantage of changing this is when I am in a caloric deficit and doing higher cardio, my delt/arm session later in the week suffers a little bit due to being flat and depleted a couple days before the Skipload. Changing this will allow for training delts/arms every other week on Mondays – one day after the Skipload. With the recent growth that I am now having from the SCGS compound during the Skiploads, I anticipate that this will benefit my delts and arms quite a bit more than the other training schedule.

I am currently taking a break from cardio – all of it. I bottomed out at 201 again last week and I am tired of the cardio volume and just plain wanted a break from it this week so I cut it all and didn’t do even one session this week. I have not decided if it will go back in for next week or not but it definitely will go back in the following week. I am leaning towards putting it back in next week but I really like how full I am right now and not feeling depleted and small. Bodybuilders don’t do well with flat and small. 

Whether I go back to the cardio this next week or the week after I will go right back to double sessions so I anticipate that this break will allow for my body to respond very well again when I return to the cardio and break that 200 mark, finally. I will have gone from over 240 to under 200 in about 6 months – and keep in mind that I slowed the process down and started taking my time about 2 months ago after pushing hard the first 4 months and I am glad that I did. When I made that change to slowing it down, my look changed for the better and quite drastically. I am much fuller now and I am actually growing so I like this combo quite a bit.

The only other point that I would like to make is I MIGHT play around with a 2 day Skipload with the SCGS compound because I feel that with the SCGS compound being so efficient, I may not gain any body fat, at all, and fill out even more and if I can do those 2 things then I damn sure can grow even more at the same time, too. THAT all sounds pretty sexy.

I will update next week with what I decided to do. In the meantime, have a great weekend!
