First day back from vacation.  Great day.  Motivation and discipline wasn't there early in the day so I came back around 6pm and got in a really good one.

  • SSB Box Squat: 255x5
  • Bench (w/Squat Bar): 55/75/95/115/135x5
  • FSL: 5x5@115
  • Pull-ups (supersetted throughout workout: 10x5
  • Fluff and Puff
  • Neck: 3x15
  • FBB Curls: 3x10
  • Pushdowns: 3x10

I don't know why I did the Bench with the Squat Bar, but it worked out very well.  I think what I'll do moving forward is do the main work with the FBB and then do FSL with the Squat Bar.  It may be time to get a Fat Bar.  Pressing and Incline will continue with the FBB.  Those movements are still weird.

My goal is to get my FSL work up to 5x10.  I need the extra volume, especially since the weights are so painfully and embarassingly light.

Oddly, Incline is starting to bother me again and the Bench is starting to feel better.  Whatever.  I'll figure it out.

I'm not too sore yet, but I think it's coming, having taken a week off from lifting.  I was active on vacation, though.

  1. Sprayed my sister's 16 and 29 acre fence lines
  2. Sprayed my mom's 5 acre fence lines
  3. Cut down 5 trees, dragged and burned them with my sister
  4. Miscellaneous stuff around my mom's house
  5. Floated 10 miles down a river in Oklahoma... in the sun.
  6. Moved/organized the hay loft for a new batch of hay that was, thankfully, cut the day I was leaving

Love working on my mom and sister's farms, but I'm also happy to be back to my routine.  Does anyone really care?  Hahaha!
