Here's the deal.
I first met John Welbourn at THIS seminar in 2009. He wasn't a dickhead so I liked him. A retired professional athlete, kinda beat up, surgeries, injuries from doing stupid shit, passion to help others, still kind of does stupid shit, stays involved with strength and conditioning, and still likes to do some stupid shit (oh, I already said that). What's not to like?
Over the years we've stayed in touch. I did his Podcast once or twice - can't remember. He brought many of his team up to our last Sports Training Summit... you get the point.
I also bought his coffee once and it almost knocked me on my ass.
Here we go again.
Typically around this time of the year, I have people ask me to help "pimp their shit." You may not know this but affiliate marketing is a "thing" in this industry (like a giant circle jerk) and one I really don't care for. I can't count the number of people who ask if elitefts has an affiliate program because they are HUGE fans and want to help support the site. Then I look up their order history and it is...
ZERO
Huge fans, right? I digress- they are a fan as long as they can make an affiliate commission. If we ever do have an affiliate program you can bet your ass we will be vetting the shit out of who we will associate with. I think John does a good job with this and if we ever do get to this point, he will be my first call.
I also get a bunch of people who contact me to pimp their goods. This ok since we have a store so if the products are good we will stock and sell them but that really isn't affiliate marketing. Other times there are those who have direct-to-market goods: supplements, books, etc. If I like it, think it offers value, and the person isn't a dick. I will let our readers know about it.
John's company Power Athlete HQ has a new program out. He did offer the affiliate deal to me to promote this program but I have never used any affiliate program in the past. To what may be my own ignorance, I think referrals should be earned through great work, reputation, products, or service. So, I denied his offer but asked to see the program and if I thought it was good and worth the value, I'd spread the word.
It is so I am sticking to my word. It's good and worth the money so I'm letting you all know.
Here is a link to the training program - it's called JACKHAMMER.
JACKHAMMER! --- Sorry John but I can't lie, the title made me laugh but for $15.00 it's worth a name I can have some fun with.

DISCLOSURE: I NOR ELITEFTS MAKE ANYTHING OFF THE PROMOTION OF THIS. THIS IS A FOR REAL REFERRAL. TAKE THAT FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH.
