Hafthor Bjornsson, also known as Game of Thrones' Gregor "the Mountain" Clegane and for 2018 World's Strongest Man, competed on Dec. 15 in Thor's Powerlifting Challenge, a powerlifting event in Iceland.

Bjornsson, who's won quite a few strongman titles (he currently holds the top prize and title), fared well in his first-ever powerlifting competition with a total of 2,425 pounds.

He missed his opening squat, but his second attempt came in at 970 pounds. His third and best attempt was a squat of 1,014 pounds.

His deadlifts were two for three: 859 pounds as an opener and 903 pounds for his second. His final attempt was 947 pounds, but Bjornsson couldn’t quite lock it out.

All things considered, that's not bad at all for his first powerlifting competition.
