It has been held by Žydrūnas Savickas, Bill Lyndon, and a handful of others.  The world record washing machine throw has fallen yet again, this time to Cincinnati resident Sean McCarthy.

McCarthy, a strongman competitor, trained specifically for this event to bring positivity to Cincinnati and to shed light on the sport of Strongman.  The event took place July 31st at Great American Ballpark immediately after a Cincinnati Reds game.

How far did McCarthy throw this washing machine? 15 feet and 9 inches.
