This was my last workout from my last week of deload after my meet. I still kept up on all of my dynamic effort work, I just took an extra minute or so of rest between sets than I would have in a typical speed squat or bench day.
I recently purchased an rackable cambered bar from elitefts , so far it has proven to be a great purchase. I have used them for squats (DE Box Squats in this instance), good mornings, and squat mornings. I plan to either keep the squat mornings in my training or add in bottoms up good mornings with this bar in order to build up my deadlift.
Dynamic Effort Box Squat:
We have a pretty good training crew going on at The Strength Lab right now, so we use the Elitefts Squat Box , which is great because it makes it so easy to change from 18,16, or 14 inch box height.
Cambered Bar to 16 inch box:
4x2 @ 275 lbs
2x2 @ 295 lbs
2x2 @ 315 lbs
The weight was lighter than I typically would have used, but like I said, it was my last week of deload, and I will be back at training hard on Monday.
