I’m currently in meet prep for the 2015 IPA Grand Prix Nationals at the Greater Columbus Convention Center on October 24th, in Columbus, Ohio. I will be competing at 132 pounds, raw with knee wraps.

This weeks conditioning and recovery work was rather light. With the meet coming up quick, the only goal is to keep moving and provide some blood flow around to the body. I'm in excellent shape, so I'm not really worried about getting out of shape, but rather just maintaining the ability the recover well and do everything I can to feeling good. My body is definitely ready for a good solid week of rest, but this walking is certainly helping me not have any nagging issues in my hips, knees, low back, or just feeling like absolute poop. It also gives me a great time to visualize and think about meet day and all the hard work I've put in. With the awesome weather we're having, it's also just a great bit of relaxation and time away from everything. One more light week of this stuff and then time to really rest up!
