I’m currently in meet prep for the 2016 APF Equipped Nationals, in Orlando, Florida on May 28th, 2016. I will be competing at 132 pounds, raw with knee wraps. The big picture is to prep for this meet, and obtain a top three placing to qualify for WPC Worlds in November.

Tuesday's training session was a pretty good one. I felt really good, came in with a lot of energy, and all my work felt light. I've certainly liked pulling heavy every other week, and it's allow my recovery to be better as whole. I'm still hitting super high reps on my pause squats due to setting a pretty low training max for this, but it's better than I build into it rather than increase my training max and get destroyed (like I did last training cycle). I think it's safe to say my pause squat is getting much better, and as a result this should have a good increase in my stability in the hole for the meet.

One more extra training session, and one speed day left, then it's time for an intensity deload over the weekend. And man, I've been looking forward to that!
